Fairy Music Recording

Hi Everyone. It has been a while since I have posted anything because quite simply, since before Christmas I have been very busy with various creative projects and music making. Below, please find a post that I added on the Facebook group Roots and Wings, which has been created recently to inspire creativity and as a vehicle to provide information on up coming retreats etc. In the meantime, I wish you all a happy Easter… I will be adding another post very shortly about an upcoming concert.. I would like to share a little story with you which I hope will inspire some beautiful artistic expressions for our Summer Solstice retreat in Greece. Anyone who knows me, also know that I Love Fairies… I fell in love with Almine’s Arubarfirina book and began to recite the beautiful fairy spells and potions.. At first, nothing seemed to happen but as I persisted, I noticed miracles occurring when I became fluent with the languages. I have always been highly sensitive and as life evolved I started to see fairies and angels and unicorns and all sorts of magical beings… Now, my house is pretty crowded.. Fairies look so physical to me now that I see them whizzing about the house every day.. They are my friends.. One of my sweetest fairy friends is a little girl at who’s birth I was present. I love her and she loves Everyone!!! She speaks with me any time I think of her and brings such joy and fun and pure sweetness.. A couple of years ago, I was writing(I love to write poetry) and the fairies spoke to me and told me they would sing their music through me… I accepted what they said and just let it go.. Some time after that, in the evening time, I would sit outside in the back garden, wrapped in my magical white blanket, whilst watching the garden fairies go about their business.. With my Arubafirina book in my hand, I started to sing the spells..and beautiful things started to happen.. Myself and my beloved friend Karen Folgarelli began to have Skype calls and she played her harp and I sang and she sang…In 2013, on my way to Almine’s women’s shamanic retreat, I spent a week in Karen’s house and we prepared and performed at two concerts of music from silence, with her harps and my voice, singing fairy songs and other tools of Almine… We would sit in her back garden, playing and singing and incredible miracles started to happen… Nature joined in… When we played loudly, the wind became stronger, the birds sang louder, and when we sang pianissimo, nature responded by doing the same… It was an incredible and magical experience which has changed me. Last year, Karen came to magical Ireland, where I live, the land of Tír na n’óg, the land of forever young, where the fairies live, and can be found etched in the faces, the spirit, the music, the magic of the Irish people… We recorded some of this music, in the form of fairy spells, which will be released for purchase this summer. The music is incredibly powerful and magical and when the tracks are heard in their entirety, they build on each other, like an alchemical equation. I would like to share a track from this first album with you this evening… Every single piece of music was recorded from Silence as a live recording… It has been said many times that when we sing, we pray twice.. For me, when I sing with my heart wide open, miracles happen. This opening of the heart and silence of the mind through singing and the power it has to manifest a magical reality beyond our wildest dreams… This is just one of the tools I will be sharing with you in June at the Greek Summer Solstice retreat.
